Monave Mineral Makeup Review

Monave Mineral Foundation

After trying many different brands and products of mineral Makeup, Monave is the only line to hit bang on what I was looking for. Great coverage, all natural, preservative and chemical free.

Being Gluten Free and the fact that 95% of their products are vegan were just the added bonuses.

The website (www.monave.com) boasts the 1st place win in the Natural Solutions Magazine 2009 Beauty with a Conscience award! The loose mineral foundation covers flawlessly, and I actually feel more confident wearing Monave’s products than any other. I highly recommend that all women give Monave a try, I am sure you will never use anything else again!

EDITOR’S NOTES:

I visited Monave’s website. This mineral makeup was created by a woman who calls herself a true sensitive meaning that her skin and body reacts immediately to substances. She also had a skin tone that was hard to match for conventional makeup.

She created her mineral makeup line to meet her needs and help others by providing foundation colors that work for all skin tones.

A unique feature of Monave’s site is information she provides for those who would like to try their hand at creating their own mineral cosmetics. This is an interesting part of their site. Even if you are not planning on creating your own products there is good information here about mineral ingredients that you may not know.

Below are the ingredients from their mineral makeup:

Loose Mineral Foundation: Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue, May Contain: zinc oxide, silica

I am also including the ingredients for their cream foundation. Sometimes this is where a company will use chemical preservatives but as you can see this company does not.

Cream Foundation:: Organic sunflower oil, Organic Soybean Oil, Jojoba, Purified Water, Beeswax, Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Chammomile Extract Vitamin E (rice-based), Borax, Essential Oils of Rosewood, Lavender, Wildcrafted Rosemary. Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue, May Contain: zinc oxide, micronized zinc oxide, silica kaolin clay.

Looks like a good one to check out.

Mineral makeup is just one part of a natural beauty routine. If you are looking to add more natural products to your cosmetics check out natural cosmetics for more info about natural lipstick, mascara, nail polish and more.
