Motives by Loren Ridinger- the best, by far

Initially, I was in love with this mineral makeup because of how it looks and feel. Goes on super smooth, and my skin looks AMAZING. It evens up my skin tone better than anything I’ve ever used. The Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation is so light, not heavy like some brands I’ve used in the past. I always throw some Photo Finish Powder on over it bc I do have oily skin. Not only does that set it, and it stays on all day.. but it looks so natural.

I’ve always hated seeing my face change colors when someone takes a picture of me.. that DOES NOT happen when I wear this! Then, I also found out that it doesn’t contain any bismuth oxychloride AND it is the only mineral makeup to contain Squalane Oil. This oil, which is derived from olives, is an easily absorbed oil that is produced naturally in your skin til your about 23, then it slowly starts to diminish. So not only do you get the coverage and SPF benefits, but there are also anti aging benefits as well.

(This is also the only brand I know that will CUSTOM BLEND mineral foundation, powders & blushes for you!!) I think that sets this makeup apart from the rest, and I will be a lifetime user for sure! 🙂

EDITOR’S NOTES:

Thanks for your review Marci.

I went looking for an ingredient list to include with this review of Motives Liquid Powder Foundation but unfortunately could not find one on their website. Marci told us about a few of the ingredients and even though her preview was very positive I would need to know all ingredients before ordering.

Yes NEW
by: Haley Mineral make up is great. But so does every other make up if it works for you. It really depends on your skin type.

Stop being an Alarmist…do the research NEW
by: Anonymous There is no definitive link between parabens and cancer. The one study that suggested there ‘might be’ a connection was highly flawed and has been dismissed by the scientific community. Read the studies if you don’t believe it. It’s just another spin the cosmetic companies use to promote their products and get you to pay more. BTW, parabens are naturally produced by vegetables and fruits. Foods such as soy, beans, flax, cherries, blueberries, carrots, and cucumbers.

Toxic Ingredients
by: An Integrative Physician Amanda, Thank you for listing all of the ingredients, but how can you and your company say that this is make-up that is nature based when there are so many toxins in it. I would never use or recommend your products.

by: Anonymous I am surprised. I was under the impression that the makeup was free of parabens.

Do we really have to Suffer to be beautiful?
by: foodinsite This produce does indeed contain “…parabens” — all kinds of parabens. Parabens are toxic and enter through the skin. There are many products that make us appear flawless and beautiful, but at what price pretty? No thanks!

OMG you should be actually scared to post these ingredients. I have actually never seen such an alarming list of ingredients before. PEOPLE NEED TO EDUCATE THEMSELVES.
There are 5 different Parabens . Parabens are hormone disruptos and may alter important hormone mechanism in our bodies.
Then there is a PEG’s – PEGs may be contaminated with measurable amounts of ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane, which are both carcinogens.
Titanium Dioxide- Is on there twice . When human cells are exposed to titanium dioxide without the presence of UV light from the sun, the risk for bacterial infection more than doubles. Also titanium dioxide is an additive that promotes inflammation and could raise a cancer risk.
